Amendments, cancellation, and refunds policy:

True Ananda:

Whilst True Ananda will endeavour to run classes, courses, workshops, therapies, and treatments as scheduled, we reserve the right to amend dates, times, location, or fees at any time.  You will be notified/contacted as soon as possible of any changes and options available using the contact information submitted at the time of booking.

If a therapy or treatment is cancelled, then an alternative date and time will be offered, if this is not convenient, then a 100% refund will be issued.

If an entire course is cancelled prior to the course starting, the course may be rescheduled and if particpants cannot attend the new date, time or location, then 100% refunds will be made.

If the course is cancelled partway through the course, True Ananda will rearrange the remaining sessions of the course, and if this is not suitable for paid participants to attend, then a pro-rata refund for the cancelled class(es) will be issued or an opportunity to attend another course at a later date.

True Ananda reserves the right to cancel courses in which the number of attendees falls below a viable level. In such cases, every effort would be made to find a suitable alternative. If a suitable alternative is not found and the course has already been paid for, a 100% refund for the full amount will be issued.

Where the cancellation of an in-person class or course is due to factors beyond our control, in particular, but not limited to, coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions, for example, local lockdowns or requirements for isolation we reserve the right to substitute online classes for in-person sessions, and in these instances, no refund or carrying over of class sessions will be provided.

Participants:

If you have booked to attend a class, course, workshop, therapy, or treatment but your circumstances change and you miss the appointment, we will always try to accommodate a transfer to a different class, course, workshop, therapy, or treatment date wherever possible. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds.

If you cannot attend a session during a course, depending on availability, it may be possible for you to make up the missed class by attending any of our other classes, at the discretion of the instructor.  This must be agreed with us before attending a different class.

If you need to leave a course for any reason once the course has started, we are unable to offer you a refund or defer your course place.

Healthy children and adults:

Please ensure that you only bring healthy children and adults to class. You and your baby/child should remain at home if he/she or you have had a fever, vomited, or had diarrhoea within the past 48 hours, or are exhibiting contagious cold symptoms (e.g. heavy nasal discharge or discharging eyes).  Please also remain at home if you or your baby/child have symptoms of a possible communicable disease, such as Measles, Chicken Pox, German Measles, Whooping Cough, Impetigo, Scarlett Fever, Hand Foot, and Mouth, Norovirus or COVID-19.

If you see another baby/child with a runny nose or cough, do not automatically assume the child is contagious. Allergy symptoms can resemble cold symptoms.

We reserve the right to refuse admittance to the class if we feel that the baby/child or adult is not in adequate health. Regrettably, we cannot offer a refund for a lesson missed due to illness.

Videos, photographs, and confidentiality:

We love you taking pictures or videos of your children during the course but please always be sensitive to taking pictures of others without their permission. If you are asked to stop, please respect the rights of others.  In addition, if the instructor feels that the amount of video is excessive, then you may be asked to stop.

Please remember that much of the content of the class is under copyright and while we are very happy for you to practice at home, these are not to be incorporated into any other public activity without our permission.

Occasionally, we may request to take photographs or shoot videos during classes to use for marketing and promotional purposes, which may include but is not limited to, use on social media, promotional materials, or on our website.  You will be asked at the time of booking and/or before the first class takes place whether or not you consent to being included in these images and footage.  Refer to our Privacy Policy on our website.

Protection of property:

Please note that your property left in prams or bags is your responsibility and True Ananda cannot take any responsibility for the safeguarding of these items.

All premises are checked by the True Ananda instructor at the end of every session and any items found are kept by the instructor. The exception is if the items found are deemed to be unsanitary to keep, in which case they will be thrown away instantly.  The instructor will message the relevant classes to let them know of any lost items. The items will be kept for the duration of the course. If they have not been claimed by the end of the course they will be donated to local charity or thrown away. If you have lost something, please contact your instructor.

Please note that all articles left on the premises at any of the venues we use are left entirely at the owner’s risk. We cannot be held responsible for any lost or damaged items.

Risk assessments are conducted:

True Ananda follows rigorous internal checks of the venue and its own equipment to ensure that they are clean and safe. Infection control policies, such as cleaning regimes and hand washing/sanitising protocols guidelines have been developed for our class sessions and will be carried out by your instructor as required.  Please ensure to follow these guidelines as given by your instructor and for the venue.

True Ananda asks all participants to remove their shoes while in class to reduce the chance of transmission of microorganisms. Shoes need to be worn to visit the bathroom within class times and care exercised to avoid slips.

Please no food or drinks during the session (apart from breast/bottle/tube feeding for infants).

No liability can be accepted for any incident that occurs due to this guidance not being followed. While True Ananda makes every effort to ensure the safety and comfort of you and your baby/child during the sessions, participation in our activities and the use of our equipment is at your own risk.

Class behaviour:

Class time should be enjoyable for all.  It is important that all participants feel safe, respected, and valued.  To ensure that each participant feels comfortable during the class, we ask that you adhere to the statements set out below:

  • Mobile phones are placed on silent during the class or treatment
  • Listen to the guidance provided by your instructor
  • Be supportive and kind to others

  • Be friendly and demonstrate good manners

  • Treat everyone with respect

  • Ensure that photographs or materials published on social networking sites do not identify other children or parents without permission from those involved

  • Join in and have fun!

  • Talk to your instructor about anything that worries or concerns you

In the unlikely situation where an adult's or child’s behaviour during our classes is unacceptable, disruptive or causing physical or emotional harm to others, the instructor would speak to the adult during the class to remind them of our code of behaviour and try to resolve the issue.  If the issue is still not resolved, then True Ananda Limited reserves the right to request the adult and child to leave the class in order to protect others.
